I went to FYE today, not by planning to. It was by chance we were out and about and we stopped in. I was actually on a mission to find the maxi singles to "Sorry" and "Get Together" from Madonna. FYE usually has a special of "Buy 2 Get the 3rd FREE" on all used items. It's usually restricted within the areas of CD and DVD. You can buy 2 CDs used and get a 3rd free, but you can't buy 2 DVDs, and get a CD free. You basically can't mix the media. For the four day weekend, you were able to mix media. I had figured on buying something, maybe a few CDs. I found OZ - The Complete Sixth Season with a used tag on it. I was going to find something else and let Brian get the 3rd free item fro himself. He never found anything so I decided to just get 3 DVDs for myself. The first was OZ of course. The next two are either very cool or very odd. Cut it how ya want.

Nothing much else going on. Phoebe and Clarice went to get shots this morning, and both did very well at the vet's. Phoebe seemed to just chill out on the examination table and she wasn't affected by her shots (rabies and distemper). Clarice was exploring the whole place while on her leash, and people seemed to enjoy seeing a cat on the leash. She was okay with the vet, but became nervous when the vet got near her to examine her. I just held onto her and kept her in place and got the shots done before she knew it. Phoebe is scheduled next Friday to be spayed. A month after that, we'll schedule Clarice for the same procedure. We'll hopefully avoid both of them going back into heat again and have years of peace with no late night howling anymore.

Brian and I drove around after bringing the cats back home. We made it up to Clifton Park area, and then after making a stop up there, we headed back home. We're just doing a few miscellaneous things around the house. Our friend Lisa is due to stop by later. She has taken our neighbor Sue out to dinner, and will stop by later just to hang out for a bit. Not a lot else going on really, and that's a good thing.
